Hi Jenn, I posted my donation request letter on my blog (now that it is private). If you want to have a look at it and do the same in your community, I would love to hear how it goes. It has been an overwhelming response for me. I have raised almost $3000 and with the $1000 I donate this will mean great things for this tiny little home that has so little. It feels good to do it and the things that people say, the cards I've gotten, the donations from strangers... it's overwhelming and feels so good. Good luck with your donation run! I hope you beat the pants off of my total!!!
